Run by arts charity Gathering Voices, SoundWorks is Bristol's most beautiful centre of creativity & wellbeing and the base for much of our work.  Gathering Voices works across the city and wider region, primarily with young people and creative adults, in the areas of music, performing arts, mentoring and cultural/creative leadership. We see our role as creative facilitators and producers, change makers and synergists experienced in developing collaborations, associations and partnerships with individuals, groups, educational bodies and organisations with a shared intention to build dynamic, sustainable, integrated and creative cultures.

Mentoring:
The Next Creative Generation

Gathering Voices is pleased to offer this pilot course, ‘Mentoring: The Next Creative Generation’, in partnership with Artsworkin, OYAP Trust and Oxford Brookes University as part of the Artsplan professional development programme at SoundWorks in Bristol.
This course is suitable for artists, arts professionals and arts organisations wishing to develop the skills, talents and experience of emerging and early career stage artists and arts managers. In the challenging climate faced by arts organisations, investing in mentoring support for young artists can bring long lasting benefits to individuals, to mentors and to arts organisations. Mentoring not only delivers enhanced skills through supportive relationships but also encourages self-directed learning and models behaviours that encourage growth in others.
